For you who love to sunbathe, Myrtos can be one nice place to get your skin tanned. You will be among other visitors flock in here who love to soak up the rays especially in high season. In Myrtos, you can rent the umbrellas, which are limited. And the beach is kept free from watersports, which then leave you the only option to swim.

But then again you will be amazed by the beauty of Myrtos. Small white pebbles, green, blue and turquoise-colored water, and the calm situation is definitely good for your relaxation. In summer, it can be very hot due to the sun reflecting from white sand and pebbled and white cliffs. Since no resort located here, the feeling of being in Myrtos is natural.

To reach Myrtos, you should go through a steep tarmac road (approximately three or four kilometers long) from the village way above. You can get there by public transport or driving your own car and park on the road or available parking spaces.

If you wish to visit Myrtos, there are daily flights to Kefalonia from Athens and weekly flights from UK. As for options to take ferries, you can find ferries leave from Kyllini or Patra.
