It is way too worth it to come here at the time the sun is diving into the Aegean Sea. Many people usually already gather on the narrow passage ways only to see the famous sunset. The best spot to enjoy sunset is probably by the Kastro walls although you can just easily enjoy it from everywhere in Oia. You can easily spot “sunset view” signs advertised by restaurants trying to attract visitors. Though the sun has set, the wow feeling will still be there as at dusk the view of Oia is calming as the light from the buildings makes the town looking clean and soothing.
